ooc • timeline for bete noire (2011-2013)

May 2011
27 • Draco makes his arrival in the city of Bete Noire, much to his own chagrin. He also meets Percy Weasley, a doctor, some nameless jerk, Merlin, and a female Oliver Wood who claimed to be Katie Johnson, whomever that is.
31 • Draco discovers that dragons are present in the city, and meets an injured Christine Chapel.
    31 - 04 • Draco trolls the Magistrate.

June
06 • It's the day after Draco's birthday, and he found his window, and consequently gets trashed. Thankfully, he met De that night. Oh, and Scott, Dana Scully, and his supposedly dead cousin.
08 • Draco is pinged by talk of illusions, and meets Zero for the first time.
09 • True to form, Draco welcomes Dr Chase by trolling him.
11 • Pinged by chipper people, Draco goes trolling and decides to eventually find out what kind of talents people prefer.
12 • Draco realises Snape is there. And promptly freaks out. He later goes out and runs into De, who takes him to a sex shop and then home for a fabulous night of shagging. Like...really fabulous.
16 • Draco is called out as being a grumpy wizard, and this somehow ends up endearing him to Zero well enough that he bothers to leave the house and teach him magic. And then they go on an ice cream date for completely unknown reason.
19 • Once again, Draco is compelled to troll the Magistrate. He unwittingly becomes confidante to the man by asking the right questions, and begins to rethink if he wants to continue trolling.
20 • Compulsion week sends Draco to De's doorstep. Sadly, he runs into Jimmy first, and starts a fist fight.
26 • Draco decides he needs work, and is promptly recruited to Hellsing. Also, Zero is clingy. He also meets Gaila, who strikes him as a weird girl.
27 • Draco's interview with Hellsing goes well, and Zero kidnaps him for a tour. He meets Scott again, actually learns Zero's name, and meets Spike.
28 • Draco doesn't take well to Snape meddling in his life, and decides to say it out loud.

January 2012
01 • Remus returns and apparently remembers teaching Draco at least somewhat. That's interesting.
03 • Hermione was attacked, and very nearly died, and Draco actually cares. He mostly just hates death.
08 • Draco and Ianto go out, and Draco gets mugged. It's a rather unfortunate end to the day, but Ianto helps him recover, even after he uses the Cruciatus Curse on his attacker.
23 • Draco goes out, and runs into Percy at Furor's. They bond as much as they ever do.
31 • Gaila invited Draco out to her burlesque event, and he enjoyed it thoroughly.

February
02 • Draco continues to troll Tony, but this time, Tony is having none of it.
03 After Sirius got shot, Draco ran into him, and the conversation went as expected.
06 • Zero passed out, and Draco decided to draw on him. Anna also takes over Merlin's body.
07 • In chatting with Hermione, Draco comes off as totally paranoid.
12 • Sherlock is demanding, and Draco disapproves. He also talks to Snape, and gets stubborn about learning things and making something of himself. It comes out that he wants to be a Healer, and Snape is impressed.
13 • After bickering with Snape, Hermione shows up at Draco's flat with peace offerings of cookies, and spends most of the evening bitching about things to him and Zero. Turns out Zero was also in a snit because he got kicked out of Snape's class, and just wanted to impress Draco.
15 • Ianto got stabbed by Scott after Scott came back, and when he makes a mostly open network post about it, Draco refuses to hang up. He later goes to make sure he's all right, and provides Ianto a little bit of comfort.
18 • Scott isn't himself, but Draco still ends up going out: he runs into Scott, and gets himself stalked and thrown against a wall.
20 - 23 • Draco locked himself inside, between running into Scott last week and losing Zero, and people seem to care. Namely Hermione, Ianto, Tosh, and Scott, come to make amends.
22 • Draco is forced to tell Snape that Zero's gone, and gets a bit mopey about it. But Snape makes it better by helping him out with Healer stuff.
27 • Tosh wolfs out when she finds out that Owen's gone, and Draco jumps to conclusions.

March

April

May

June
01 • Diana wants to grant Bonnie a key to the city, or something.
05 • It's Draco's birthday! Therefore, he's having a little party. Be there or be square.
06 • Bonnie's curious as to who's getting lucky after prom. So for the first time in ever, Draco admits that he's sleeping with De. Oh, and Scott gives Draco a rather nice birthday present.
09 • Prom night! After being auctioned off, Draco also gets enough votes to warrant being given a crown as one of the princes, where he hangs out briefly with Pepper, and then he goes off to mingle. He finds Diana, and later introduces her to De; Hermione and Cordelia come by, there's a brief interlude with Elena and dancing is had.
11 • Posner begins collecting poetry over the network. He and Draco sort of get along. Sort of. And then Tosh announces that she's been in Bete Noire a year. And apparently had her sense of fun removed, which is an absolute tragedy.
13 • Scott got a sunburn. Draco's not really sympathetic, but he'll help out. If Scott hangs out with him and reads terribly trashy romance novels. Basically, neither of them get any work done that day, for making fun of books. But it was good bonding.
17 • Diana and Draco go out for the night, and run into Tyler. So they have themselves some nice chats about Quidditch and American football.
21 • Artemis makes demands that aren't entirely unfair. Even though they lead nowhere good. Draco couldn't say that Scott didn't deserve what was coming to him. Which he tells the man shortly after. He later finds Remus, and they attempt to find a way to fix Scott's little dilemma, to no avail. At some point, Amy also decides more parties are in order. Gene also confuses Draco to no end.
22 • Diana sings in the shower. About Impalas. That's adorable.
25 • Unicorns apparently follow Sherlock.
27 • Rory inquires after a potential Bete Noire School of Medicine. Draco wishes there were one, because it would make his life and job easier. (Someone remind him why he works.) Draco also introduces Diana and De to one another, and they get attacked by vampires.
30 • Posner continues his poetry spam. The following conversation is one giant tangent.

July
01 • Toga-Boy needs a job. And also has a name, funnily enough. Of course, Draco's never been partial to people named Percy.
02 • Draco is unimpressed with Orpheus' lack of haircut notion.
04 • There's a fourth of July party! Gaila's offering kisses to the patriotic, but Draco just makes hefty donations. He's English. He also goes wandering with Diana, chats with Facilier and Pasha again, and wins a giant teddy bear for Hermione. And then they go on crazy festival adventures.
09 • Another of Posner's weekly poetry posts! Wherein Draco starts to question Pos' sanity.
10 • Someone named Blaine is trying and failing to call people from home. Draco mocks him for it.
11 • Gaila is suddenly human. That's a problem, mainly because Draco feels the need to make her feel better. Especially since she did ask for his help. But later on, Draco goes out, and runs into Uhura as an Orion. Which perhaps just leads him to believe he doesn't like her very much.
12 • After telling Gaila he'd spend some time with her, Draco follows through. It ends in petting her hair and calling her pretty, naturally.
13 • Pasha seems to have obtained a bit of magic. At least, that's how it looks to Draco.
17 • Draco ends up running into Max, who is apparently in heat and decides that shagging against a wall is the way to go.
21 • Snape warns Draco against hanging out with Pasha. But Draco does what he wants. Later on that evening, Draco goes to De's place with the intention of spending time with her, and ends up babysitting.
23 • Another touching poetry moment with David Posner. This time, they discuss homesickness. And later on, Draco finds out Gaila is back to normal!
24 • Cassandra discusses the notion of the city moulding people. Draco agrees.
27 • After Draco's nightmares and headaches begin to escale, he is forced to make a call. Needless to say, his skills at locking things fail when he's in pain.
31 • An annoyed Draco is out and about, and inadvertently pisses off a goddess. He's lucky he didn't get himself killed.

August
02 • Draco runs into Facilier outside a bar after getting rather drunk. Facilier doesn't take too well to it.
10 • Hellsing hosts a small bonfire party! Sadly, everything goes horribly awry, and Draco tries to Obliviate himself, with no luck.
13 - 18 • After the Obliviation incident, Draco goes crazy, and starts torturing his friends. He's surprised that a few people actually tried to convince him that he was being misled. Oh, and he ends up getting along better with Tony than he ever does when he's sane. Funny, that.
21 - 24 • Once upon a time, Draco was absolutely insane. A few people tried to stop it, with varying levels of success. Tosh, of course, succeeded by tearing his throat out. He now bears scars from the encounter.
    25 • Draco is dead.
26 • Draco revives, and is promptly taken into custody by Raylan.
27 - 03 • Draco is left in jail while the justice system deliberates on his sentence. At some point, Erik comes by, and manages to put the fear of God into him.

September
03 • Pasha is having issues with maths and magic and all that fun stuff. Draco's not very helpful.
04 • Ianto arrives to bail Draco out. They end up having an in-depth conversation, wherein Draco tells Ianto everything he didn't think was previously relevant.
05 • Draco's out of jail, and Tosh is in hospital, so he thinks to go visit her.
07 • Sort of a follow-up to his visit to Tosh: Draco apologises to the network for his outburst.
11 • Posner's up to his usual tricks again, and being that Draco is trying to make things normal, he responds. It ends in poor decisions to potentially turn the coffee supply of Bete Noire into tea as an attempt to assert Englishness over the city.
13 • Max starts talking about bikes, and Draco happens to have a hoverbike that he hasn't used in a while. Things are particularly awkward, and he has no idea how to talk to her, mainly because he's fairly certain something's being lost in translation.
15 • Draco is involved in the Rip van Winkle trial, if even as an innocent bystander potentially to be called up. During the recess, he and Megamind discuss a thing or two. All it does is make Draco hate himself slightly more. And then Rip went free. Earlier in the day, he gives Wesley a call in regards to a support group of sorts.
16 • Gaila returns to the network, and Draco has evidently missed a few things. All the same, she reassures him that she's still his friend. And Blaine finally seems to have listened a little. Even if the conversation degrades in a way that Posner would disapprove of greatly. At least Draco manages to get an apology out of him yet. It's also the Jewish New Year, and Draco is woefully uneducated when it comes to that.
19 • It's Hermione's birthday! That means Draco is trying to make it up to her that he was sort of a jerk. And crazy.
21 • Max wanted a bike, and Draco conveniently had one. So they go for a ride, and then a drink. Seems backwards.
22 • Hellsing has an exercise in bonding, and Draco is basically just super awkward.
23 • Something happened to Diana, and now she's got the mind of a ten year old. And Draco is definitely no minder.
25 • Draco ends up going out, and having a rather pleasant chat with Finnick.
29 • Snape is gone. Naturally, Draco is a little bit bothered by this fact.
30 • There's been an explosion, and Gaila got caught in it. Naturally, Draco offers to come by and offer her better company.

October
01 • Rip denies having anything to do with the explosion. Draco doesn't believe her. It quickly devolves into terrible, terrible things. And Jack updates everyone on the recent events. Meanwhile, Draco's been helping out more often at the hospital, to keep everything moving.
08 • Cassie seems to be having a hissy fit over whether or not people are disposable. It gets a bit off-topic. But then Draco runs into Aramis fending off muggers, and in a spur of the moment decision, asks to be taught how to fight with a sword. Now he just...needs one.
09 • Draco and Posner get to chatting again. At one point, there's a purpose to the conversation, but then it just degrades again into ridiculous banter. They also make a bit of a pact to talk again in a week, and give each other tips on how to care more and less respectively.
11 - 12 • After deciding that holing himself away wasn't necessarily a good idea, Draco hangs out in Hellsing's kitchen, running into most of his coworkers.
13 • Draco runs into Bonnie. Except that she was feeding on someone, and he's immediately nervous around her. At least, in person.
16 • It's been a week, and sure enough, Draco and Posner are at it again. Really, Draco's just pleased he's got another British bloke to snark with. Oh, and they do manage to get out a tip or two for the other to work on. And at some point, he has a brief chat with a woman about Halloween.
17 • Sam's looking for work, and Draco recommends therapy. Because he and Sam have always gotten along famously. And later on, Draco gets his first fencing lesson.
19 • Facilier is selling off masks, and Draco finds that more than a little strange. Call him paranoid.
23 • Winona is looking to work at Hellsing, so Draco gets sarcastic. In Owen's absence, of course. Someone needs to do it.
25 • Malcolm gets the brilliant idea to start a support group of sorts, and Draco feels the need to tell him about his and Wesley's ideas. Maybe this will get off the ground yet.
27 • Someone from London makes their grand arrival via text messages and slightly amusing retorts.
29 • In search of a particular potions ingredient, Draco runs into Diana. Turns out there's a dead body buried in the forest.

November

December
02 • Spike talks about how the worst part is that you can't leave.
    03 • Cassie isn't dead. Apparently.
05 • Hellboy appears on the network, asking about Finnick and generally being ridiculously red.
08 • In his recent frequenting of a local bar, Draco and Julian have a little chat that leads to him giving the other man a handful of potions to help with nightmares. Little does he know, the nightmare in question was his own.
10 • Draco runs into Julian while the latter is out buying pot, and it ends with Julian apparently watching out for him. Later, Tom starts asking about suffering, and Draco replies, though it ends up not going very well for him. He's starting to think he'd be better off not checking the network, at this rate. Harry also takes the time to fill him in on a thing or two that he deems necessary information. It's overwhelming.
11 • Today is the day Draco finally turns all the coffee in the city to tea as a swan song of sorts. Posner posts a very appropriate poem for the occasion, Blaine takes it upon himself to complain a little, Sherlock bitches as always, and later on, Narcissa shows up in the city, delightfully suspicious of everything, and doing very well to hide her identity. Draco doesn't even know she's his mother. And neither does she, so it's probably a good thing. All in all, it was a decent success, all things considered.
12 • Ianto posts about the lack of coffee, invites everyone round, and generally treats Draco like he's lying through his teeth. Which he is, but that's not the point. He also gets the rest of the week off. Later on that evening, he goes to Tom and gets the death he foresaw. It's just as painful as he thought it would be.
13 • Draco's been dead for a little while now, and Harry and Tom are having their duel. Somehow, his ghost makes a cameo, and plays a part in the final undoing. Not that that will stop Tom for long.
17 • Draco's back, and Harry's out of his coma. That means a handful of conversations that he didn't want to have.
19 • One of the first things Draco does now that he's not dead is move out of the Casa de Marauder. Strangely, Julian's already hanging out at his apartment.
21 • Now that he's back and out in the world again, Draco calls Posner to tell him everything that he refused to before.
22 • Tosh is out at a cafe, and Draco decides to join her.
24 • Julian drags Draco out to a Christmas party, where he chats with a few people including Jack, gets thoroughly snogged by Julian, and then learns Theo's actually in the city. Sorry, Julian. Best friend trumps.
27 • Harry lets everyone know about Quidditch, and that means he and Draco actually have a decent conversation. The same doesn't quite go for him and Erik.
30 • Narcissa gets a real network device, and finally sees Draco's face.
31 • Jennifer goes off on multiple tangents. Draco's not sure he follows.

January 2013

February
02 • Earlier in the day, Draco gets Julian to give him a new tattoo - a Celtic knot, for Theo. And then Rip calls a few people to make final goodbyes, and ends up giving Draco her treasured musket to care for. He'll miss her, despite their first meetings. Later on, Blaine is found tortured and taken to hospital, and Draco goes by to spend a little time with him. It's almost strange, doing so without David around. Even later, Julian calls to make sure he's all right.
09 • There's a Valentine's Day Party hosted by Bonnie! But it's sort of a train wreck, because the drinks were spiked. Draco does manage to have a few decent conversations. Like his conversation with David, which sort of ends with them snogging on a couch. He also hooks up with Julian, not that anyone's surprised there. But he sort of hooks up with Harry sometime after their earlier fist fight. That escalated quickly. Then, the more obvious hook-ups: Theo, and Max.
10 • Early in the morning, Theo is swiped away by Tom. Draco doesn't realise, though, and he's already promised to help Blaine move house.
12 • Draco finds out that he's been wrong about Theo going home on him. Turns out Tom Riddle snatched him up to use as bait. Draco doesn't fall for it. But he does end up promptly making a series of calls to make sure everyone else is okay. He later goes over to Narcissa's for a nice dinner.
14 • Draco is enlisted to help exorcise a demon from Diana. It goes oddly well, but still. As if Draco wasn't having a bad enough time with things, Orpheus accidentally broadcasts, the result of which is an uncanny depression settling over him.
15 • It seems as though Draco isn't the only one affected: Blaine seems distraught.
16 • Narcissa needs a phial or two of Dreamless Sleep, because Draco's her new provider. He's fairly proud of that fact.
18 • Draco is incredibly out of sorts, but meets Martha all the same. She starts him in on a number of medical lessons.
20/21 • Tom tortures Theo again, and Draco feels it because of the nature of the Dark Mark's call. Harry knows about it too, somehow, and immediately calls Draco; they follow that up with a rescue mission that leads to Tom's murder at Draco's hands.
21 - 28 • A series of logs wherein Draco slowly but surely helps Theo back to recovery, from his rescue to the later Legilimency that leads to Theo's memories being sorted out properly.
25 • Draco calls Martha and Ianto for a brief chat.

March
04 • Draco's back from his week long non-existence. And apparently Scott is now a werewolf, thanks to a cursed book. That's cool.
06 • The last little while has been taking its toll on Draco, and he takes it upon himself to go find Momma for a little bit of something.
08 • Scott has apparently lost the book. Draco's impressed, as always.
09 Draco and Theo go over to a dinner party at David's place. It's a double date, but without the dating part!
10 • It's Mothering Sunday, and Narcissa has received a gift. Three guesses who it's from.
11 • Damon's off making PSAs. And Narcissa feels the need to let Draco know about her new relationship. He just ends up feeling sort of numb.
12 • Dimitri arrives in the city, failing to utilise his network device in any sort of coherent way. He and Draco seem far too similar.
13 • Scott calls up Draco to let him know that Julian has no idea what he's doing as a diagnostician. And eventually things get snarky, as always.
16 • Harry goes out flying, and Draco can't help but join him. They end up racing, and actually getting along for a change.
18 • Max's hormones are once again out of whack, and this time, it becomes more clear that Draco's actually her friend, and not just a fuckbuddy.
20 • Spike is apparently trying his hand at good deeds. Best of luck, Spike. Earlier that morning, Scott comes by for a bit of Wolfsbane, just to see how he reacts. Later that afternoon, Draco and Theo ditch work and go flying by way of a 'not date'.
21 • Draco ends up stopping by the Casa de Marauder to see Hermione.
22 • David's put up his latest poetry post despite having not for a while, and Draco's concerned. Not that he knows how to show it.
26 • Draco and Theo go out for dinner at a local pub (on a not-date), and Draco runs into Julian. It sort of spoils things, but he does agree to meet him for coffee.
27 • Blaine appears to be coming down with something, so Draco offers a bit of help. He is also contacted by Dimitri, and the pair of them fence. Apparently, it's going to be a weekly endeavour. Later that evening, Draco is called to help with Charles' telepathy.

April
01 • It's April Fool's Day, and Cassandra is unimpressed. Not that Draco blames her for that. Jonah also has a wit about him, though Draco's not that fond of it. Earlier that morning, he and Theo go meet Erik for their job interview, wherein they promptly get hired with the police department.
02 • Draco goes out for coffee with Julian, as previously agreed. It actually goes better than one might expect, and Draco promises to figure out some sort of draught to help combat addiction, if he can.
03 • Thor's gone yet again. It hits Hermione particularly hard.
05 • Max asks about the people who disappear without anyone to remember. Eventually, the conversation turns dark; it's salvaged by an invitation for drinks and pool.
06 • Draco and Max have a platonic night out together. It's much needed, after Aramis calls Draco and ends up thoroughly pissing him off.
10 • Spike has apparently fractured a rib, and needs a bit of healing. Draco can provide. Later that evening, Draco meets up with Blaine and Julian for their pseudo-support group. It mostly just ends with Draco unhappily leaving them, and not returning to another meeting.
11 • Once again, Draco is off sparring with Dimitri. Earlier that day, Scott apparently requires some sort of help that Narcissa already has covered. Nice to see she's doing Draco's job. He also invites Jack out for a bit of fun.
14 • Charles is looking for a new place, and he and Draco get to chatting about magical extensions.
16 • Dimitri asks Draco to accompany him as he tours a couple of the clubs in town. They also run into Spike.
20 • Charles invites Draco over to take care of wards on his new home, and also for tea.
23 • Theo sits Draco down (literally) for a little discussion about becoming Animagi. Oh, and boyfriends.
26 • Unsure of if their previous agreement still stands, Draco texts Blaine about his new relationship status, and going by to have a heart-to-heart. Then he ends up finding a newbie named Ace wandering the streets. That evening, he ends up saving Chryssa, who isn't actually that bad.
29 • Jennifer asks everyone about masquerade balls.

Continued here.
